Spend a day in our patisserie kitchen, learning the recipes, tips and techniques from the creators of Baroque’s Macarons - Pierre Gobert and Jean Michel Raynaud.
About the day:
You’ll learn the recipes, cooking methods and processes involved in making two flavours through chef demonstrations and hands-on experience.
The day will be split; in the morning we focus on creating fillings and ganache. There’ll be a light baguette lunch and refreshments while your fillings set, before making the shells, piping and finally, the assembling of (a lot of) macarons!
At the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a certificate of completion, an apron and a box of your very own hand-made macarons to show (but not share with!) family and friends.
What you’ll learn:
A basic history of Macarons
How to make shells and fillings
How to choose the best ingredients
Best practise piping
The necessary kitchen tools and utensils
